For Better Milk

Sometimes the grass seems greener over the fence, and the milk at the neighbor's house tastes better. My painting tells the story of this desire for "more," which sometimes forces us to pack everything we own into one small boat and set out into the unknown. The large white sailboat, at first glance, promises a clean start, freedom, and new horizons under the starry sky. It carries its colorful travelers towards dreams of a better life.
However, the painting's title also carries a quiet warning. Just as cats love milk but, in reality, it often does not agree with them, dreams of a promised land can taste bitter in reality. For me, the painting is a reminder of that delicate boundary between hope and disappointment. It is about that harsh moment of disillusionment when we discover that the most beautiful ideas can transform into a difficult trial in reality.
