Lenka Husáriková

Lenka Husáriková (*1975) is a contemporary painter whose work connects classical painting tradition with folding principles inspired by origami and tangram. She uses these systems as a fundamental tool for constructing her paintings, breaking down and reassembling the depicted reality. She transforms traditional motifs - still lifes, landscapes, and figures - into structured compositions where illusory space meets precisely defined geometric logic. Here, the painting is not created as a record of what is seen, but as a process of assembly in which reality is revealed as fluid and constructed.
Husáriková naturally follows a family tradition, yet she has developed a completely authentic visual language. In recent years, her work has resonated on both the domestic and international scenes. She has held prominent solo exhibitions (e.g., Viola Theatre, Old Town Hall Exhibition Hall in Hranice) and collaborated on an exhibition with the Atelier JM Lesov porcelain manufactory. She also presents her work abroad, such as at the Monat Gallery in Madrid, Fair Art Paris, or as part of the official representation of Karlovy Vary artists in Munich under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic. Her works are included in private collections both domestically and across Europe.
She divides her working time between Prague and the Giant Mountains.
