It Takes Courage

I see this painting as one big symbol. It is about me, my decision, and the strength one must find to take a step forward. 2015 was a year of fundamental personal change for me, requiring a great deal of courage. The reflection of the boat in the moving water captures that moment of uncertainty before setting sail, but also the determination to follow my path. In the end, everything worked out, and this painting remains a reminder for me that courage pays off.
