Green Beans

This cycle consists of a trio of canvases that capture one of my first steps on the path to abstraction. The starting motif was the transformation of an ordinary food shape into simplified, organic forms. The main role here is played by pure color, where an identical composition acquires a completely different expression and energy in each new shade.
