What I process and why
For an inquiry about a particular artwork, I process your name, email, optional phone number and note, the artwork reference and submission time. I also record your confirmation of the privacy information and its version. I use these details only to answer your inquiry and discuss a possible purchase. An inquiry is not an order or permission to send advertising emails.
Legal basis
Artwork inquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. The form checkbox records your acknowledgement of this privacy information; it does not replace this legal basis or provide marketing consent. Your name and email are required to reply; your phone number and note are optional.
Storage and retention
The inquiry is stored in a private database and an email notification is sent. I retain inquiry data for six months after the inquiry has been resolved. If the correspondence results in a contract or another legal reason for retention, the period applicable to that purpose is used. Your contact details are not displayed in the public catalogue.
Who may access your data
I process your data and, where necessary, authorised providers of website support, hosting and email services subject to appropriate data protection obligations. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. You can request information about specific processors and any transfers outside the European Economic Area at the contact email above.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. I normally respond within one month. Website settings and shop
The website may remember your language and catalogue filters in your browser. Inquiry contents are not stored in these settings. Inquiries are not used for automated decision-making or profiling. The shop at shop.lenkahusarikova.com is a separate service; its orders and payments are covered by the privacy information available in the shop.
