Wheat

I have two homes—one in a big city and the other in a small mountain village where we raise chickens. Wheat is an essential part of that life. The study Wheat grew from reflecting on how people reject this crop today. While we can survive without it, our chickens cannot. This pink geometric hen among the green stalks represents that rural idyll and the question of whether wheat will eventually disappear from our lives altogether.
