Tribute II.
This painting is my Pop Art play on human diversity. I took seven Tangram pieces and tried to "assemble" twelve completely different personalities. Each has its own color, its own pose, and its own space.
I love the idea that even though we are all different, at our core, we are all from the same foundation. Just look at the two figures in the center—black and white. Despite the contrasts, they belong together and communicate. For me, it’s a celebration of how diverse we are as humans, yet how much closer we are than it might seem at first glance.
