The Last Race
In the Signals series, I wanted to capture that eternal human rush. The painting The Last Race isn't about sports; it’s about a burning desire to be the first one at the finish line. Why are the rockets so aggressively red? Because to me, red means a pulse, blood, and adrenaline. It is our human audacity to burst into the cold, black-and-gray logic of the universe. It’s called this because with every launch, I feel the question: "What if this is our last chance to find someone?" It’s a balancing act on thin ice between perfect technology and a raw adventure that could swallow us whole at any moment.
