The Drop
The painting Kapka is one of the standout pieces of this series, and I feel it truly succeeded. The porcelain set from Ateliér JM Lesov is defined here by its specific decor of black dots, evoking flowing droplets. I contrasted this organic and playful element with a strictly geometric background featuring 14th-century historical tiling found in Karlovy Vary. The entire scene is mirrored on a dark surface, giving the set of teapot, cup, and milk jug a sense of lightness and spatial depth.
