Symphony of Night
This painting, Symphony of Night, tells the story of a mysterious sound that occasionally echoes when the sun sets in the Krkonoše mountains. Yes, there are owls in it, because there are many of them here in the mountains, and I am sometimes lucky enough to hear their deep, chilling hooting in that silence of dusk.
I don't know for sure if it is an owl or another species of hooting fowl, and actually, that isn't important to me. I have just an idea. That mysterious, deep hooting is beautiful, but also a bit chilling, and above all, fleeting. It ends just as quickly as it begins. The painting Symphony of Night is my capturing of this disappearing moment, where the silence of the mountains unites with this elusive, sonic beauty of the night.
