President I
In this version of the painting President, I gave the porcelain service from Ateliér JM Lesov a more natural and legible form. Less abstraction allows the classic curves of the teapot and cups, known from Prague Castle, to stand out. A key change is the background—here, I used another type of 14th-century tile discovered in Karlovy Vary. Its richer, ornamental pattern creates a harmonious whole with the pure white porcelain, where two different forms of historical and contemporary craftsmanship meet.
