The painting Peace is Precious is my quiet response to the events that have shaken the world. A white origami dove, a universal symbol of peace, soars above a horizon of blue and yellow. The fragility of the folded paper reflects the fragility of peace itself—it takes very little for everything to collapse. Yet, the bird in flight symbolizes hope and solidarity. It is a reminder that peace is not a given, but a precious gift that we must constantly nurture, so its shadow on the ground remains a symbol of safety rather than darkness.
