The painting Paper Boat reflects my deep connection to water. Sometimes I think I must have been a sailor in a past life. As a Scorpio born in October, I subconsciously seek out water everywhere—be it the canals of Holland or the waves of the Baltic Sea. This fragile checkered boat on the surface symbolizes my dreams of living on a houseboat or in a fisherman's hut in a sea bay. It is a quiet voyage to my inner shores, where reality meets endless blue tranquility.
