Obelisk 953

The painting Obelisk 953 is based on a specific product from Ateliér JM Lesov. On canvas, I simplified this cup into a clean geometric form to emphasize its checkerboard decor and gold details. The background again features the motif of 14th-century historical tiling found in Karlovy Vary. The entire work is my artistic interpretation of a finished design, which I reassemble into a new context alongside historical fragments of the city.
