Night Poetry
In this painting, the evening skyline transforms into a silent stage for a choreography of cats. My silver origami cats appear as phantoms of the night—watching, leaping, and vanishing into the shadows. A giant yellow sun dominates the scene, slowly descending beyond the horizon. The color gradient, shifting from dusky gray through ochre to glowing red, captures that magical moment when night begins to devour the day.
The vertical lines of the city buildings act like a musical score, with red lines crossing them like power wires—or perhaps invisible paths. The cats traverse these lines with the grace and confidence of acrobats. This empty city, filled with shadows, provides a backdrop for their quiet poetry. To me, each of these cats is a metaphor for independence, sensitivity, and the courage to leap into the unknown.
