Mutěnice I

Sometimes, a single glance at a wine cellar wall is all it takes for a painting to be born. This study was inspired by a rooster symbol from Mutěnice. It’s my personal interpretation of a Moravian ornament—merging tradition with modern style. The "wavy" blue frame gives it a beautiful touch of embroidered tablecloths and frames the modern interior perfectly. For me, the rooster represents pride and the distinctive atmosphere of Moravia.
