Lovers

The painting Lovers is a celebration of horses—animals that, for me, embody pure nobility. I transformed the unforgettable experience of watching their actual courtship, filled with power, love, and tenderness, into a colorful play of tangrams. Beneath the surface of this scene, however, I hide a deeper story. The apple and the snake at the bottom refer to original sin. It is an expression of instincts and passion that are as old as humanity itself, both in nature and within us. Love is captured here in its raw, instinctive, and noble form.
