Little Red Square

acrylic on canvas

from series Porcelain Forms

75 × 116 cm

2025

The painting Little Red Square is a direct dialogue between existing reality and my own artistic construction. For the base, I borrowed a photograph from Ateliér JM Lesov, simplifying its background into shades of grey. Into this real-world context, instead of actual porcelain, I "installed" my own service built on the tangram system. The four black objects atop raw pedestals serve as proof that the world can be deconstructed into basic pieces and reassembled into a new structure at any time. The red square within the composition acts as a code, breaking the order and drawing attention to the very core of the puzzle.
