Green Crane
oil on canvas
50 × 60 cm

The painting Green Crane is one of my early origami works. Japanese origami represents an endless challenge for me—a play with plasticity, shadow, and composition. When I paint these objects, I approach them with a certain degree of tension and reverence to correctly capture their essence. Through these forms, I am gradually breaking away from hyperrealism and photorealism. It is my journey toward abstraction, where the shine and edges of paper open doors to an entirely new freedom in my work.
