Explorers

My Explorers are tireless searchers. In this painting from the Signals series, I use geometry as a map that connects what we already know with what we only just sense. The large green rocket carries hope and life, while the smaller red one introduces tension into the story. It is an encounter of two wills in an empty universe. To me, it is about that eternal human quest—even though we are surrounded by the cold and silent mystery of gray tones, these colorful machines refuse to stop until they find an answer.
