Excalibur

The painting is titled Excalibur, after the porcelain set from Ateliér JM Lesov. I collaborated with them on the exhibition Mezi glazurou a snem (Between Glaze and a Dream). I abstracted the object into flat planes of color, but I intentionally kept it in a form that remains recognizable. I was drawn to the shapes of all the porcelain pieces I painted for this series, and in this work, I attempted to translate them into my own visual structure.
