Duck

Sometimes the simplest things are the ones that stay with me the longest. Like a duck just calmly gliding across the water. With the study Kachna, I wasn’t interested in the exact shape, but in that pure feeling of joy and lightness. The yellow is joy itself for me, and the pink takes me back to my childhood. The black gives it all the necessary depth, while the geometry brings in both stillness and movement at once. For me, it’s a small symbol of how beautiful life and simple playfulness are in those ordinary moments.
