The painting Diamond is my reflection on the desire for absolute precision. Sometimes I wish to be as perfect as these shapes, but I am not a robot. To me, a machine represents true perfection, whereas we humans are defined by our imperfection. Even if this work may appear mathematically precise, it still bears the imprint of a human hand and therefore will never be one hundred percent. It is within this tension between dreamlike precision and my own fallibility that I seek the answer to what truly makes us human.
