Dance in the Glow of Sunset

I love sunsets by the sea with all my heart. For me, it is a deeply quiet, almost surreal experience where the world around stops for a small moment. You hear only the endless sea and the cries of gulls, which slowly fade as the dusk approaches. In that moment, it’s just me, the sea's surface, and the setting sun. It is a moment of total presence.

The painting Dance in the Glow of Sunset captures exactly this moment of humility and harmony. The two dark silhouettes leaping from the waves are like shadows of joy, momentarily materialized in my favorite origami style. Orange and black lines slice the water into rhythmic waves, while the sun transforms into a geometric symbol—a solid center for everything happening.
