Courtship

In this part of the preparation for the painting "Courtship", I was figuring out how the gray origami birds would soar over the landscape. The large yellow sun and sharp edges of the spruces helped me fine-tune the colors and composition. It’s just a fragment of the full motif, but this is where I found the spring rhythm and lightness that I’ll eventually bring to the large canvas.
