Clownfish

The study Klaun, subtitled "Clownfish and an Ice Cube," stems from a long-held wish of mine. I've kept aquarium fish at home for years, but I've always longed for a large marine aquarium—specifically with clownfish. Once, I even had a dream where a clownfish was playing with an ice cube. It’s complete nonsense, of course, but the image stuck with me. To at least partially fulfill my dream of a marine aquarium and make it real, I decided to bring it to life on canvas.
