Charlotte

The painting Charlotte is of fundamental importance to me—it marks the beginning of my Porcelain Objects series in 2019. This realistic oil painting was born from pure fascination with a cup design from the Atelier JM Lesov. The lady with an umbrella among the golden ginkgo leaves looks as if she is walking through a dream garden right on the surface of the porcelain. This piece sparked a fascination that eventually led to a joint exhibition in Karlovy Vary a few years later.
