Buštěhrad is a place with a soul, and Ota Pavel's pond is its beating heart. In the painting I capture the moment when reality gives way to dreams. Against a deep orange-red sunset, I draw black origami silhouettes. I sent a yacht onto the surface that isn't there in real life—it's a dreamlike fiction. The black shapes sharply cut through the warm light, reminding us that with imagination, even a small pond can become an ocean.
