Black Hen with White Polka Dots

Imagine the phone call: "Hello, I'd like four hens. You know, the black ones with the white polka dots?" The man on the other end probably tossed his breed catalog aside and burst into laughter. This "expert" terminology—the "polka-dot hen"—made his day more than his morning coffee. And so, this painting was born. The main protagonist, in origami style, stands on her green stage like a runway star. To top it off, she laid an egg in "negative"—white with black dots. The whole scene is watched over by a hypnotic background made of a hen-eye grid. It’s a poultry drama where style clearly triumphs over genetics!
