City Prisms

This gradually expanding series focuses on the architecture of cities that have personally touched me - through memories, time spent there, or the visual character of the place itself. The process begins with sketches that progressively abstract specific buildings into geometric shapes, searching for the true essence of the space and my own emotions. This marks a new experiment in my work; I deliberately move away from origami and tangram motifs, searching for a completely new, and for me unfamiliar, painterly language through pure form, color, and texture.
