THE CITIES SERIES
Cities are a personal landscape of memories and emotions for me. In this series, I focus on the architecture of places that are meaningful to me—whether through past experiences, time spent there, or a strong emotional connection. Each painting depicts a specific building, abstracted into geometric shapes that distill its essence and atmosphere. Through this transformation, I explore not only the visual structure but also my personal perception of the place.
The process begins with sketches—starting from detailed studies and gradually reducing the forms to pure geometric abstraction. This journey from realism to abstraction allows me to rediscover architecture in a new way. The series includes cities I love, but possibly also those that provoke more complex emotions. It is an experiment in pushing the boundaries of geometry and exploring how it can transform urban landscapes into a unique visual language. Each painting is not just a reflection of my perception of space, but also an artistic exploration of form, color, and structure.
