Unspoken Harmony
the way I see it
Béda and Eda is not just a painting but a reflection of my deep connection with dogs. The geometrically stylized figures, assembled from tangram shapes, meet in a landscape bathed in the warmth of a setting sun. This minimalist yet expressive composition captures the tranquility and bond that has always existed between us. I deliberately contrasted the dark silhouette of one dog with the brown tones of the other to highlight their differences while emphasizing their harmony. The green curves of the landscape add a gentle rhythm to the piece, while the yellow-orange rays of the sunset enhance the sense of warmth and acceptance.
For me, this painting is more than just a moment captured—it is a celebration of pure joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. Béďa and Éďa have always shared my emotions—when I am happy, they rejoice with me; when I am sad, I find comfort in their fur. I wanted this piece to reflect not only my personal experience but also a universal truth about the relationship between humans and animals—a silent understanding, a sense of safety, and the harmony that dogs bring into our lives.
