NIGHT POETRY

the way I see it
In this painting, the evening skyline becomes a stage for a silent choreography of cats. Formed from origami-like silhouettes, they appear as silver phantoms of the night—watching, leaping, balancing, disappearing. A giant yellow sun dominates the composition, slowly descending beyond the horizon and creating a color gradient from dusky gray through ochre to glowing red—as if night were gradually devouring the day.
The verticals of urban buildings act like a score, with red lines crossing them like power wires—or perhaps invisible paths of movement. The cats move along these lines with the confidence of acrobats. The empty city, full of shadows, gives space to their quiet presence—their poetry. I see each of these cats as a metaphor for independence, sensitivity, and the courage to leap into the unknown.
