Study of Levitation
the way I see it
This painting was created as a compositional and technical study in which I explored the relationship between form and space, as well as color and surface. A dark geometric object floats above an irregular pattern that resembles an uneasy carpet of reality. Everything is veiled in a subtle grid, separating the viewer from the scene within while creating the illusion of both motion and stillness. The object’s origin and purpose remain unclear—and it is precisely this ambiguity that fascinates me. The study serves as a search for visual balance and a technical approach I plan to use in a larger work.
