Spring awakens nature, bringing a sense of new beginnings. For me, this painting is not just a color study – it symbolizes hope and love, inspired by the rebirth I observe in spring.

The composition is built around geometric origami forms. The yellow butterfly at the center represents transformation and the fragility of emerging life. The blue structure from which it unfolds has sharp, stable edges, evoking a protective shell – a solid foundation of hope. The contrast between the bright yellow wings and the deep blue structure embodies the interplay between light and shadow, movement and stillness.

The vivid green background enhances the sense of renewal, symbolizing nature’s energy and fresh growth. The surrounding pinkish-red shapes add vibrancy, resembling blooming flowers bursting into life.

By using contrasting colors and geometric elements, I aimed to create a sense of visual tension, compelling the viewer to seek balance between stability and transformation. This painting is a reflection of how spring not only transforms the world around us but also stirs something within us – a quiet yet powerful energy, a promise of new beginnings.
