My life with dogs
the way I see it
This painting, "Béďa and Éďa," portrays two geometrically stylized dogs that I have depicted in a harmonious, symbolic dialogue between nature and emotions. By using tangram-like forms and bright colors, with a dominant sunset in the background, I wanted to express the calmness and connection I feel in my relationship with dogs.
I wanted to celebrate not only my bond with dogs but also the pure joy they bring into my life. When I am happy, they share that happiness with me. When I cry, I cry into their fur. For me, they represent symbols of loyalty, unconditional love, and support, and I sought to capture that in this painting. It is an expression of the timeless harmony between humans and animals.
The use of earthy tones in green, brown, and black, alongside the warm, glowing background of the orange and yellow sunset, is intended to evoke a sense of unity with nature, as well as the joy and tranquility that dogs bring into my daily life. This minimalist yet strongly expressive composition reflects my thoughts on the value of simple yet profound relationships that define our lives.
This painting is not only visually engaging, but it also evokes deep feelings of comfort, gratitude, and the unbreakable bond between me and my four-legged companions.
